Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are bonded to the front side of teeth for esthetic purposes. This minimally invasive procedure requires very little removal of tooth structure when compared to crowns and help to cover up teeth that may be damaged, stained or misshapen. Sometimes veneers are a great treatment for patients that have misaligned teeth but don’t want to go through extensive orthodontic treatment.
Veneers allow patients to change their smile from color, to size and shape and are very difficult to distinguish from natural teeth.
